These facilities provide unparalleled security, protection and redundancy for our equipment. Protection starts with security measures to guard against unauthorised access to the buildings, right through to the safeguarding of equipment against fire, flood, power outages and other physical threats. There are specialised measures and systems in place to cater for almost every conceivable eventuality

• System Security - The 247Desktop solutions has been designed with data security and integrity constantly in mind, with load balanced Firewalls, Anti-Virus, right through to intrusion detection and prevention. We have put measures in place to deal with every known threat. Our email systems also apply separate scanning technologies to all inbound and outbound email to search for unusual 'signatures' and possible viruses. It is therefore no surprise that 247Desktop has an impeccable record of stopping viruses and unwanted "Spam" from compromising our clients data.

• Access Security - We at 247Desktop.com only use best of breed measures to enforce Access Security in order to ensure that the users of our systems are fully protected when logging in and using all our systems. Further to that the basis of the technical design is such that no actual data is transmitted across the internet, only individual keystrokes and screen images all encrypted at up to 128Bit. This means that an intruder trying to view your data would firstly be up against military grade encryption levels, and then would have to piece back together billions of randomly dispersed segments of information before seeing a single word.

Additionally our help desk protects itself from 'soft' threats, such as bogus calls (often referred to as "Phishing"), This is where a caller present false identities in order to obtain data to help them gain access to corporate systems and data.  247Desktop support staff have been trained to recognise this types of threat and we pride ourselves on the fact that we have not had a security breach to-date.
